Production of Learning and Teaching Packs

It is likely that teaching and learning materials produced for use in the Highland Council area will be offered for sale to other authorities or published on the virtual library web site www.highlandschools-virtualib.org.uk/ or www.hvlc.org.uk/ Therefore it is particularly important that there is no breach of copyright.   It is the responsibility of the compiler/creator in the first instance to ensure that this is the case by contacting the Copyright Officer in the first instance and through him the Council’s Legal Department.

Where extracts from books and/or periodicals are incorporated into worksheets or examination papers, the following information relating to each extract should be given at the foot of the page. Title, Author, Publisher, ISBN or ISSN.
