I was gripped right from the first page. It felt so real to me when I read it and quite mysterious. In some parts I wasn't sure what was real and what was not. It seemed to be based on something real enough but had been taken further than "possible." I loved reading it and hope Tim Bowler keeps writing!

This is an excellent book. It is a very gripping novel and makes you want to read on. I enjoyed this book because there is a lot of suspense and drama surrounding two main characters. Tim Bowler is an author who can connect with his readers and get you hooked in the first few words.
I would strongly recommend this book to someone with a bit of spare time on his or her hands because it is quite hard to understand. If you stop reading it for a certain amount of time you could loose the plot of the story. This makes it harder to get back into the book. Yet still this is a brilliant book for teenagers.

It was mysterious and very thought provoking. The character of the boy kept me reading throughout the whole story as I really wanted to find out what happened to him. In that respect, the ending was a bit of a letdown as it never really ended and left me with a feeling of dissatisfaction. A very compelling book.

I liked this book because everything seemed real. It was like I was there, watching it all happen. I would recommend this book to both boys and girls.

Sophie, Charleston Academy

The book was very exciting and there was never a dull moment but in some places the book was hard to follow and at the end there were still a lot of questions unanswered. There is a lot of mystery in the book making it very tense. The characters in the book are very original and different, especially the boy. I would definitely recommend this book.

It had a very unexpected end, in fact all of it was unexpected. I would definitely recommend this book to readers who enjoy thriller and mystery novels.

I sort of enjoyed this book.  I didn't think it was that exciting, but it was well written and had quite a bit of mystery.

Aimee, Nairn Academy

I thought this book was very mysterious and atmospheric. At first it was a little confusing but it keeps your attention all the way through. The descriptions were very vivid and believable. The characters were realistic and kept up the excitement all the way through.

Bethany, Nairn Academy

The landscape always seemed incredibly realistic and the characters were lifelike and interesting.  They weren't irritating.
