Assassin by Tony Bradman

I Iiked the bit at the start where Owen and his father are out hunting wolf. I don’t like the bit where Owen and his father have to run to tell the chief about the Romans.

I didn't like it that much because it sounded like a scary book on the back cover but it really wasn't so I was disappointed.

It had lots of facts in it and the typing was good and large but it was a bit cheesy!

I liked the fact that there was a lot of information in a small space. It was quite exciting but didn't give a lot of information. A good book for people who like short but informative books.

The Assassin was ok. It wasn’t the best book because I wasn’t too keen on the knives. The facts were interesting but it was more a boys’ book.

Morven, Dornoch Primary

I didn't enjoy this book very much at all. It is a boy's book so I think that boys would enjoy it a lot. The title made me think that it was going to be really vile and scary but when I read it, it wasn't scary at all. Maybe it should be named a different title instead of 'Assassin'.
