Ghost boy and the Moonbalm treasure - Richard Hamilton

I liked how the characters had to use up energy to appear.

This book was very exciting book to read and I always wanted to know what was going to happen next. The people are not real because there is no such thing as ghosts. I don’t believe what happened because you don’t see ghosts driving cars at night. The places did seem real apart from the people that lived there.

In the book I like how the author included humans as well as ghosts. I also liked as he said that a human could see ghosts. It caused a lot of trouble. I believed some of the things that happened but not all of it. I thought it was a true story but as I read it I started to see it wasn’t true.

I thought it was ok

I think this was a brilliant book. I liked all of the characters in the book. This has got to be a book you must read.

The characters in this book didn’t seem real but that’s probably because they’re mostly ghosts. I didn’t really believe what was happening in the book but it was still quite a good story. Some of the places in the story didn’t seem real but some places did seem real like Halibut Hall. Overall I'd say it was quite a good book and it was sometimes hard to put down but it was also sometimes a little bit boring in places.

I liked that you could picture in your head what was happening.  I also liked the places that the book was set in because the Moonbalm Hotel is a very eerie place and you could tell it would be infested with ghosts.  The part I liked the most would be the big chase at the end to get back Etheldread's treasure back.
