Armadillo

Themes:   Relationships

Armadillo by William Boyd

Insomnia, death threats, arson, suicide - Lorimer Black is not having a good day.   His career is in the balance, his family are driving him mad and now he has met the woman of his dreams (who is married).   Darkly comic, this novel plots the decent of an already troubled young man into deeper and more convoluted depths of industrial intrigue.   Through his trials Lorimer comes to realise that the loss of the life he has been living might not prove to be a bad thing.
