Policy:

Books
will be selected from a range of currently available material
published in the last 20 years and will include non-fiction

All
interested librarians, teachers and pupils may suggest titles for
inclusion on the web site |

Suggestions
will be considered by an editorial group of librarians

In
the event of disagreement the final decision will rest with the
Reading Webs Committee
|

“Scottish”
is defined as: by a Scottish born writer, having a Scottish theme,
or reflecting Scottish life and culture
|

The web site will be
maintained, updated continuously and reviewed annually
|
Process:

Suggestions
for inclusion may be sent to members of the working group at any
time |
 |
Where
possible the person making the suggestion should write a short
blurb for the book they are suggesting (see
guidelines)
|
Final
selection, decision on books to be removed etc will be the task of the
editorial group
|
