These
are examples of good practice submitted by secondary schools.
They are based on national and/or Highland Council guidelines previously
issued to schools.
It is proposed to build up a bank of these policies in order to cover as
many “administration” areas as possible, so that when Management Teams come
to review their existing school policies they will have examples from other
schools to consider.
If you click on a title of the policies on the next page e.g. Behaviour it
will take you to a list giving Highland Council/National guidance on the
topic.
This resource will only be successful if schools are prepared to share their
